But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

Away: Silent Retreat
October 29-31, 2021
St. Ignatius House Atlanta GA
Registration opens Spring 2021
May we ask a question… do you want to come to know the person of God our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? To really know them intimately? It’s a choice God gives each of us.
To come to know a person intimately we must spend time alone with him or her. We must share our hearts with one another. It takes a willingness to listen. It takes vulnerablity. It takes time. It takes selflessness. It takes love.
And so it is with God. To develop intimacy with God, we must hear from Him, we must get away to be alone with Him. We invite you join us on Away, our silent retreat. Come slip away from the noise and frantic pace of the world to just rest and be with your Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
“In silence God listens to us; in silence He speaks to our souls. In silence we are granted the privilege of listening to His voice.” – Mother Teresa
Silent Retreat Stories
He freed me from a life long question of personal value when I first experienced Him in silence. Since then I have grown to deeply desire that silence, knowing that in the silence He speaks, He reassures and He protects me. – Marilyn
Cloud Walk’s silent retreats are one of my favorite ways to accept Jesus’ invitation to “Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest… Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.” (Matthew 11:29-30, MSG) – Steve
Wow! What a wonderful experience the silent retreat was for me. The Lord met me in such an intimate way that weekend. He took me on a journey in the silence. First, he just showed me how much loved me and that I was safe and secure with him. Then, he revealed an area of pain/fear in my life that I was unaware existed. In the end he lifted a huge burden from me…and it has set me free! – Sarah
This was my first silent retreat, but it certainly will not be my last! I wanted an antidote to a hurried, worried mind. I wanted to be a sheep grazing by still water. I wanted to walk through a furnace of transformation. I found all of them on the silent retreat. – Hal
The silent retreat was the most meaningful walk with Jesus that I have ever experienced. I was able to receive the love of Jesus. – Liz
