We love, because He first loved us.

God’s Love Transforms
It was a “road to Damascus” experience that changed everything; an encounter with the living God and the transforming power of God’s love through the Holy Spirit. The journey began in 2002, when a 43 year old corporate climber came to the end of a worldly life focus, where he lived in fear of discovery… fear of being found unworthy of the love of God and others… fear of being found out that he was less than in a culture that celebrates the best and the brightest.
He was living the corporate life in full; chasing the American dream for 20+ years and finding it less and less fulfilling. He, in the most literal sense, had been selling his soul to gain the world. A marriage was in trouble due to his neglect and self-focus. Two young children longed for more time with their dad.
The Inescapable Love of God
In January of 2002, God interrupted the life of this dead man walking. He had been avoiding God for nearly 26 years when he was invited by a dearly respected friend to attend a 3 1/2 day silent retreat. Imagine trying to avoid God and being placed before His living presence with no interruptions and nowhere to hide… for 68 straight hours.
The result was a holy encounter with the unstoppable force of God’s love. A man who didn’t even cry at his own mother’s funeral cried for hours upon hours as unrelenting waves of God’s love poured over him – washing away self-doubt, feelings of being unworthy of love, and the fear of being found out.
When the retreat ended, he was overwhelmed with the knowing, deep within his heart and soul, that he was loved by the Creator of the heavens and the earth. This man’s response… to dedicate the rest of his life in helping others discover the profound and powerful love of God through our living Father, our living Jesus, and our living Holy Spirit.
He and his wife now live to help people fall in love with God.
Cloud Walk Ministries was birthed by the love of God and continues by the grace and goodness of God. We continue to be astonished and overwhelmed.
