Values are defined as measurements of relative worth, merit or importance. As we endeavour to help others fall in love with God, we rest on scripture for a set of guiding values. These values drive our actions and boundaries.
1. Celebrate Uniqueness – rejoice in the diversity of each of our unique spiritual paths.
No two of us are made exactly alike. The gifts and life experiences that have shaped who we are and how we are in relationship with God are all different. Our needs to grow spiritually and our pathways in which we experience a loving relationship with God are unique to each of us. We celebrate this and desire to serve the unique and growing relationship that each of us has with God.
Romans 12:4-6 “For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly”
2. Seek God’s Direction – continually seek clarity of purpose & path from God for the ministry & those we serve.
As we passionately seek God’s direction, we draw ever closer to Him. As we draw closer in knowing our Lord, He reveals more of His very nature to us. His will for our lives, His ministry, and the life calling for those we serve becomes clearer and clearer. The passion of our hearts and how He has uniquely made us becomes clearer. This clarity drives our decisions for the ministry and those we serve. Our God is a God of clarity, not confusion. In seeking Him we discover clarity in all aspects of our lives. We will serve others to this end… to His direction.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight”
3. Transformation – passionately seek personal & organizational transformation by the Holy Spirit.
True transformation of the mind, heart and soul is not of man, but of God through the Holy Spirit. Being conformed into the likeness of Christ cannot be done in our human strength or will, but only by the transformational power of the Holy Spirit. Cloud Walk does not transform the lives of those we serve, we are only the agent. God does through His love for His children… we merely create environments that prepare the minds and hearts of people to be open to God’s transforming touch.
2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we are all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”
4. Servant Leadership – serve others to become the spiritual leaders God made them to be.
True leadership is servant leadership. We have been blessed beyond measure to serve others in coming to know and love God. We will serve all God’s children and through this service be a conduit for His Love. We will model servant leadership to others to help them find their unique path to serve others. Servant Leaders are born out of coming to know God intimately. And as He draws them closer to His heart they are compelled to serve others in this same journey. Our desire is to play a part in serving the growth of God’s next generation of servant leaders.
Matthew 20:26-28 “but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
5. Love of God – spiritual transformation begins and ends with love… God’s love.
Our greatest hope and prayer is to serve others from a place of unconditional love and truth… God’s love and truth. To know God is to love God, for God is love. We stand before God as empty vessels for His love to flow through to His children.
1 John 4:18-19 “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love because He first loved us”.
